We listen with extreme care during this first stage.

This phase is 1st in the process. Business owners or home owners (called Clients from this point on) often have ideas, pictures or sketches to review. They may have a survey of the site, which can also be obtained in their Town Hall.

Also during this period, the Client can go to the Town Hall for a copy of the building code. This lets the Client get educated as to what can and can’t be done based on zoning and building codes.

The obligation of the architect is to advise the Client if the Client’s expectations during discussions are not realistic based on zoning, codes and other regulations.
